Ann provided support for a project involving the de-centralisation of Central Reservations for a group of three hotels and introducing Revenue Offices back into the individual hotels. This included evaluating the knowledge and process gaps and then planning and managing the changes and coaching. The set-up of access to the GDS through HotelRez, the Online Travel Agents and the use of Channel Direct was reviewed and amended to allow each hotel individual access.
For the three hotels a simple but robust system of revenue management processes was introduced, which resulted in the hotels being able to hold a productive weekly Revenue Meeting. Ann then provided coaching support to the teams two of the hotels herself.
As a result of this work, the General Managers and Reservations team members understanding and ability to make good Revenue Management decisions improved. This in turn led to an improved revenue performance for the hotels.

Ann’s training talks for itself in pounds, shillings and pence. Earlier this year Ann helped a small group of three hotels working with Recommended Hotels to understand how better to manage their overall rate structure and it has truely paid off.
